ארגון המדינה האסלאמית (דאעש) ביצע מתקפת טרור קטלנית במחוז סלאח א-דין שבעיראק, בה נהרגו ונפצעו חמישה שוטרים עיראקים. מדובר במתקפה הרשמית הראשונה שמיוחסת לארגון מאז השלמת שלבי נסיגת הכוחות הצבאיים של ארה"ב מהמדינה, דבר המעורר חששות כבדים מפני התחזקות מחודשת של תאי הטרור של דאעש בעיראק.
